Brief on Janmastami celebrations:

• 2 day celebration
• Pandal Program
• Altar with a back drop of Sri Sri Radha Madhav and Ashta Sakhis
• More than 25000 people visited the venue on both the days (10am - 11pm)
• 20000 plates of prasadam distributed (Khichdi, Kheer and fry)
• Volunteers from NCC / Scouts and Guides
• Cultural program primarily depicting dance forms from the North-East region (Nearly 20 teams numbering 200 Artists)
• Visual Media (Live telecast in 4 channels, Co-sponsor)
• Throughout the day media presence.
• Corporate support (Co-sponsor, space to put our flex-hoardings)
• Local Administration support (round the clock CRPF presence on both days, Fire Brigade, Donation, Ambulance)
• Hundreds of people from near by districts visited.

Many devotees and congregation visited. They were curious and surprised to see such elaborate arrangements done with very few helping hands.The Media representatives said that this is one of the biggest festival held in all of north-east. They were sharing that next year the crowd may touch 1 Lakh, if the venue remains the same.
The Assamese people have slowly started recognizing HKM Guwahati.
